School Technology Planning
Technology Plans help realize the benefits of technology, by integrating technology into the curriculum through planned equipment purchasing, professional development and curriculum design. An effective technology plan is based a shared vision and mission of the First Nation educators, parents, community members, and leaders who have technological expertise. It ensures that technology enhances curricula and supports meaningful, authentic learning for all students.

Network Support

In the area of Network Support, the MFNERC provides technical support and training for persons managing computer networks within the First Nations.  The MFNERC will keep computer networks functioning through analysis and troubleshooting, and is prepared to help manage changes that take place in computer systems daily.  The MFNERC will provide technical assistance in procuring the appropriate technology for the application.

Media Support

In the area of media development, the MFNERC has experts on staff in the field of video production and graphic design and layout.  The MFNERC will provide technical advice for the development of best practices in media production in the First Nations schools.  The MFNERC can provide training at our Winnipeg office, or during regional and provincial conferences for media development and graphic design.  The MFNERC staff will also provide technical advice for First Nation schools looking to purchase audio visual equipment.

Online Education tools
Online education tools allow the MFNERC to provide advanced computer based training to teachers, administrators and para educators easily and quickly. These online education tools and information applications have helped create the best online training courses possible for First Nation school staff.

Angel LMS Courses for Teacher Resource and Capacity Building
