-          The MFNERC Service Desk is available for all schools to contact us regarding all IT related questions or issues including hardware problems, networking issues, request technical assistance, assistance with Maplewood, and Internet connectivity.

-          The MFNERC Service Desk has migrated to a new ticketing application named OTTERS. There are no changes to our service desk policies or procedures. However any previous links included in old tickets (before April 30, 2012) will no longer be valid or accessible.

SIS/Server Technology – Jason Bailey

-          All Year 3 and 4 schools will be on Maplewood Enterprise for September 2012. We are working to set up the schools in Enterprise. More details will be provided.

-          We are working with Maplewood to plan the migration of Year 1 and 2 schools to Enterprise. We will be working with the Information Worker in each school to migrate their school from Legacy to Enterprise. More details will be provided.

-          Code tables for Maplewood will be standardized for Year 3 and 4 schools in Enterprise. Year 1 and 2 schools will require data cleanup. We will work with the Information Worker to clean up the data and code tables.

School Upgrades – Jon McKenzie

-          School upgrade equipment for Year 4 schools is being delivered this week. Once you receive the equipment please contact Service Desk to schedule deployment within the school. The toll free number is: 1-866-941-6359.

Training – Gary Page

-          All Year 3 school have been contacted and information worker training has been scheduled. Teacher training will be scheduled for the May/June and August/September timeframe.

-          We have created the Provincial Assessment reports cards in Maplewood for years K – 12. If you are interested in using the new report card format for your school please contact Gary Page @ Gary.Page@mfnerc.com.
